Do I need to opt in for the Playabets EGT Showdown?

Short Answer: Yes, you need to opt in for the Playabets EGT Showdown. The promotion terms state that you must opt in via the tournament widget to enter the competition and have your points count towards the leaderboard.

Without opting in, your spins will not register on the leaderboard, and you will not be eligible for any prizes.

1. How to Opt In

According to the Playabets promotion terms, entry to the EGT Showdown is done through the tournament widget. You must locate the widget and complete the opt-in process before you start spinning. This ensures the system tracks your points and places you on the weekly leaderboards. The tournament runs for four weeks, and the Top 30 players across the month advance to a final leaderboard.

2. What Happens After You Opt In

Once you have opted in, you can start playing any EGT Digital game with real money. The minimum bet is R2 per spin. Your points are calculated as (winnings divided by bet) multiplied by 100. The prize pool is R3,000,000, funded in full by EGT Digital. Keep in mind that multiple accounts, collusion, or exploiting errors can lead to disqualification and forfeited prizes.
