Does using a VPN affect my ability to withdraw from Hollywoodbets?

Short Answer: Yes, using a VPN can severely affect your ability to withdraw from Hollywoodbets. The terms explicitly list using VPNs or other software to circumvent geographic limitations as a Prohibited Activity.

If detected, Hollywoodbets reserves the right to withhold your winnings, void bets, and immediately terminate your account.

1. VPNs as a Prohibited Activity

Hollywoodbets is licensed to operate in specific jurisdictions, primarily South Africa. Using a VPN to mask your location and access the platform from a restricted area violates their terms. The company monitors account activity for irregular or unlawful behavior. If they find evidence that you are using a VPN to bypass geographic restrictions, they can take immediate action, including withholding any pending withdrawals.

2. Consequences of Detection

If your account is flagged for VPN usage, you may face a full investigation. During this time, your funds could be frozen. If the investigation confirms the breach, Hollywoodbets has the right to confiscate winnings related to the prohibited activity and close your account. It is highly recommended to only access your Hollywoodbets account from a permitted location without masking your IP address.
